My dreams

Hi... Nice to meet you again in my nice blog. Huft... I am confused when my friends, family, or you ask about my dream. Because I have many future plans. But now, I just want to share with you some of my dreams. There are I want to be a good teacher, I will use my knowledge to another people, I want to get job in Java, I have two cute children and I am going to teach them English early.

In my small family, I don't have brother or sister, so my parents dreams in my life. They want to me be a good teacher. I am not sure I can be good teacher, but I try to get it.

My second future is I will use my knowledge to another people. I want to help another people with my knowledge if I can do it. For example; When my friend or another people can't answer or don't understand with his/her lecturer's or teacher's explanation about English.I will explain more as soon as possible.

The third one is I want to get a job in Java.Do you know why I want to get a job in Java, not in Borneo - in my hometown? Because all of my families live in Java and my parents are going to move here after my father pension from his job and I get a job. Although I have gotten a job yet, I hope my parents can move to Java as soon as possible. Because we don't have family in there, so just my father and my mother live in there.

The last one is I want to have two cute children and I am going to teach them English early. I think, learning English early is good for a child. I will teach them about how to speak English, how to write and all about English which I have gotten in Sanata Dharma University. I hope my child can speak English very well and not like me, hahha....


I know, to get all of my dreams are difficult, but I always try and pray to God. Failure isn't problem, but the biggest problem is hopeless. Don't give up to get our dreams! God always helps a man who always fight to gets his/her dreams.

My unforgetable Experience

Hello... In this occasion I am going to tell about my unforgetable experience.

When I was 8 years old, my parents and I had an accident in Paringin. It happened when we wanted to go to our house in Tanjung. Before I am going to tell the accident, I will tell you that my father is an army. So his job always moved from one town to another town.

When my father’s job in Tanjung, we had a house. We just stayed for four months in our house, because my father must move in Kandangan. My father had been working in Tanjung for five years before he moved in Kandangan. We got Tanjung for two hours from Kandangan. Once a month, my parents and I always went to Tanjung to look our house. Because our house was empty.

On Saturday morning, my parents and I started to go Tanjung by motorcycle. My father rode the motorcycle in 60 Km/hours. We enjoyed our journey. My mother carried me front her and I slept in her hug. Suddenly, in my slept I heard noise. I heard many people screamed. I woke up and I saw my father laying on the road and there were many pain on his body. Many people helped my father and carried up him to PUSKESMAS. My mother approached me. I cried and I saw my mother’s left leg was swollen.

A few minutes later, Police men came. He asked about the accident. Apparently, a man had crashed us. He rode a car and he didn’t keep his concentration when he wanted to go out from a alley. He rode fastly and then crashed us.

The driver was responsible. He took care my father until he recovered. Now, the driver and my parents like a family. He always visits my house and calls my father to know his condition.

I think it was bad unforgetable experience. I hope it will be the first and the last terrible experience in my life. Amen.

My Daily Activities

I will tell you about my daily activities. I live in boardinghouse near my campus. So I do everything lonely.
I always wake up at 5:30 a.m. I like to wake up early. After that I take a bath for 10 minutes. I pray after it. Before I go to my campus, I clean my bed room and wash my clothes. Then I go to "Warung Biru" to have breakfast at 7 a.m. When my class begin at 7 a.m., I have breakfast at 6:40 a.m. before I go to campus.

Sometimes I just have one or two classes, but on Wednesday I have four classes. It makes me tired. When my class(s) is over, I come back to my boardinghouse. Before I take a nap, I do pray and have lunch. I take a nap at 2:15 p.m. until at 3 p.m. Then I watch television for 30 minutes. I take a bath and pray after it.

At 4 p.m. I do my homework until at 5 p.m. After that I play with my friends in my room. Talk about new gossip, listen to the music or watch television together. I pray again and read Al-Qur'an after pray.

At 6:30 p.m. I study until 8 p.m. Then I watch television for one hour. After watching television, I do Isya pray and go to bed to sleep at 10 p.m.

Fried Rice

You will need
Ingredients:
An egg
Oil
Two clove of garlic
One clove of red onion
A cucumber
Three chilies
Salt
Sauce
Soy sauce
Vet sin
Materials:
Frying pan
Slice
Plate
Grind

First peel garlic, cucumber, and red onion. Wash garlic, cucumber, red onion, and chilies. Dry them. Next slice the cucumber. Then mash garlic, red onion, and chilies. After mashing them, add a little salt and vetsin to taste.

Heat a spoonful of oil in a frying pan. Then take an egg and beat it onto frying pan. After beating the egg, mixture it in the centre with slice for about three minutes. After that set aside on a plate.

Before mixing them all, heat another a spoonful of oil. Saute the ingredients about four three minutes. Next enter a plate of rice in the frying pan. Mix them. Before adding soy sauce and sauce, put the egg. Then add soy sauce and sauce. Mix them all about five minutes. After five minutes, take it out of frying pan and serve it with cucumber.

I have a favorite lecturer in my campus. Now, I will explain about the person's general appearance and I hope you can guest it.

The person has receding hair. The hair's color are gray and black, but almost gray.The person is medium height and built. The person has sun-tanned skin, flat nose and around face. The person always uses glasses, wears stripes shirts and trouser. The person has mustache and chubby cheeks. When the person starts to teach, the person begins with prayer. The person always brings a knapsack bag. The person always says "so on" when the person explains the person's subject. The person always comes on time. I think, the person never comes late. The person teach me on Tuesday at 9 o'clock in K 15 room.

In Sanata Dharma University, I have a favorite place. I like this place, because I'm enjoy and comfortable when I stay in this place. Now, I would like to explain about it and you can use my explanation to guest this place. Please, read it carefully!

My favorite place in one of buildings in Sanata Dharma University. It’s a room and in door. It has a first-door. When you want to enter this room, you must pass ladder. This room has many things. There are books, bookcases, four computers, and a big table in the left and near the first door. You will find four rooms in it. There are Pustaka Artati, Pusdok Verhaar, Penjilidan, and Gudang A.

The room is so cold. It is the coldest room out of all the rooms in the building. Do you know why this room is the coldest room out of all the rooms in the building? Because the low temperature can preserve books in there. You can find and borrow all sorts of books in this room.

It's Me

       Hi... I shall introduce myself with you. My name is Oktavia Setiyawati Nugroho.It's so long name,isn't? You can call me Okta. I was born on October,12 1991 in Banjarmasin. I grew up in there. In Jogjakarta, I'm a student in Sanata Dharma University. I live in one of boarding houses in Mrican. I live alone in this town.

       My parents don't live with me. They live in Tanjung, South of Borneo. They have living in there for twenty years. My father is an army in Tanjung and my mother just a house wife. My parent have a daughter only. So, I'm a special daughter in their heart. My parents always support me, especially my school and my hobbies. I have two hobbies. They are singing and shooting. My family in Java disagree with my shooting hobby. They thought shooting is a sport for man only. Now, in Jogjakarta I never shoot again. I try to focus with my school only.
